Chapter 16 - How To Be Saved
(Sometimes Called "Born Again")

God's Word and His Spirit Will Change Your Life Completely
When You Truly Turn To Him And Ask Forgiveness.

1ST. Recognize that you have done wrong (Sinned) in the eyes of God.

2ND. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin (Bring Forgiveness).

3RD. Ask God to forgive you of your sins (wrong doings) in pray.

4TH. Believe in your heart that when you confess with your mouth, that God does forgive you of your sins.

5TH. After making your decision to receive Christ, I encourage you to prayerfully seek a Bible-believing church that will assist you in growing as a new Christian.

Your Prayer Could Be As Simple As This:

"Dear God, thank You for loving me. I realize that I am a sinner, and
ask You to forgive me through Jesus Christ, who died for my sins.
I accept Jesus right now as my Savior and lord of my life. Amen."

Scriptures For Your Authority To Confess
And Believe Are The Following:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

"As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12-13)

"Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37)

"Whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life’ (John 3:14-21, 36; 5:24)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved; For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation ... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Rom. 1:16 through Romans 10:9-13)

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 2:38-39; 3:19; 16:31)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:1-10)

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen. (II Peter 3:18)
